  Photomontage of architecture in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

This series was photographed from a single vantage point: on the rooftop of The Colombo Innovation Tower, a new skyscraper opened in 2019 as a downtown hub for creative industry. Rising several stories above the surrounding neighborhood, a sense of perspective and contrast emerges as the old city meets the new. Kesara was drawn to the contrast of materials and construction as the vernacular architecture of a city becomes one transformed.
